MARIN Bobcat Trail 4 29 bicycle
Suitable not only for commuting, but also for weekend trips outside the city. You can ride on cycle paths, unpaved roads and in easy terrain. If you ride more demanding terrain or more frequently, you will need to fine-tune more often.
Aluminium frame
Lighter, relatively durable and stiff material that is affordable. The most widespread material for the production of bicycle frames.
Hydraulic disc brakes
Reliable in all conditions, better modulation of the braking effect with the use of less force on the lever. Heavier weight, more demanding service.
Coil fork

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.
- The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
- The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
- The bicycle is carefully packaged back into a box and shipped
- If you order a bike for in-person pick-up or home delivery, the bike will be waiting for you assembled and checked
- If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
- Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
- Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
- Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
- Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
- Mount seat post to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
- Inflate the tires or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
- Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.

zial tento ram disponuje tzv. ZS44 standardom hlavovej trubky - vnutorny priemer je 44mm, standardne je tak mozne osadit jedine 1 1/8" vidlicu.

I would go one size up propably If I had to buy again (184 cm height - top tube is a tad short at 56 cm) - just because of XCO, but for trail size is good.

Be mindful that the seatpost can only go down so much as the bottlecage holder rivets permit, so either you cut the seatpost or drill out the rivets - if the seatpost cutting is not enough.
Brakes are good, but for some reason I have to adjust the callippers every week.
Make sure you take the wheels for truing after some use, spokes can get a bit loose.
Shifter is easy to adjust, shifts accurately, but bit on the noisy side. up and down shifters are both thumb operated, so bonus for that (you can keep your finger on the brake while operating the shifter).
One-by drivetrain has a good range, only downside is that you sometimes struggle with the best ration because of the bigger jumps, but that is my roady 2x11 speed campagnolo Super Record bi***ing. It has everything you need.
SR suntour XCM 30 is kind of not so great, but it can get the job done.
Also the bike is upgradeable with a headset adapter to be able to house a tapered fork, so you can go wild with upgrades if you"d like.
MTB is a moneypit.
Smack a dropper post (just be mindful of the bottlecage rivets) on it, maybe an air fork and it will be everything you want.
Trail it, race it, goof around with the kids, jump, hop, pump, go touring.
Yes, you could pump out 4000 € for marginal gains, but why bother?
